Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric. It boasts powerful anti-inflammatory properties and is a very strong antioxidant; just by adding black pepper, we increase the curcumin absorption by 2,000 %. The benefits are a plenty, and consumption of turmeric has been known to help reduce chronic pain, inflammation and overall pain relief.
